Family Nurse Practitioner

Benjamin Cera Lopez, FNP-C

Benjamin Alexander Cera Lopez studied medicine at the “Zoilo Marinello” School of Medical Sciences in Las Tunas, Cuba, where he cared for patients in clinic and in the hospital.

When he arrived in Miami he started over: he trained in nursing and has spent more than a decade in South Florida hospitals, including Hialeah Hospital and Select Specialty Hospital, caring for patients with complex conditions.

He earned his Family Nurse Practitioner degree at St. Thomas University and, since 2023, has cared for patients in primary care, hospital internal medicine and endocrinology, with a special focus on diabetes, thyroid disorders, obesity and osteoporosis.

In 2026 he founded MyaHealth Medical Center with a simple idea: every patient deserves time, clear explanations and to be treated like family.
